أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ بَنَاهَا (27)
27. Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed?
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا (28)
28. He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it,
وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا (29)
29. Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light).
وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ دَحَاهَا (30)
30. And after that He spread the earth;
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا (31)
31. And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture;
وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا (32)
32. And the mountains He has fixed firmly;
مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ (33)
33. (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.
Is your resurrection- O Mankind- after death greater in your evaluation or the creation of the heavens? He elevated it above you like a building, and he lifted high its roof in the air neither is there any disparity in it nor cleavage, and He made its night dark with sun set, and made its day apparent with sun rise. And after the creation of the heavens He made the earth spread out and He deposited in it its benefits, and He made springs of water to gush out of it, and He caused plants to grow in it, and He established the mountains in it to serve as pegs for it. He- glory be to Him- created all these favors for your benefit and the benefit of your livestock.
Verily, your re- creation on the Day of Judgment is easier upon Allah than the creation of all these things, and all of it is easy for Allah.
فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَى (34)
34. But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.),
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَى (35)
35. The Day when man shall remember what he strove for,
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَى (36)
36. And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees,
When the big resurrection and the greatest severity comes which is the second blowing of the trumpet, by then everybody will be presented with his deeds both good and bad. Thus he will remember them and acknowledge them, and hell fire will be brought out for everyone to see physically
فَأَمَّا مَنْ طَغَى (37)
37. Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah).
وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا (38)
38. And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts),
فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى (39)
39. Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;
As for the one who was rebellious against the commandments of Allah and preferred the live of this world over that of the hereafter, his final abode will be hell fire.
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى (40)
40. But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts.
فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى (41)
41. Verily, Paradise will be his abode.
As for the one who feared standing before his Lord for accountability and restrained his soul from evil desires, his final abode will be Paradise.
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا (42)
42. They ask you (O Muhammad ( )) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time?
فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَا (43)
43. You have no knowledge to say anything about it,
إِلَى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا (44)
44. To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof?
إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشَاهَا (45)
45. You (O Muhammad ( )) are only a warner for those who fear it,
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا (46)
46. The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning.
The disbelievers ask you O Prophet- mockingly- about the time of the last hour which you promised them of. You have no knowledge about it. In fact, that is for Allah alone while your duty is to warn about it whoever fears it. On the day they will see the last hour, it will be as if they never lived in this world except for the period between noon and sunset or sun rise to the middle of the day as a result of its terror.
